After 1 to 2 hours, the tan will start to develop. It is far better to apply regular light misting applications which will develop into a much more even tan and for best results leave the solution on your skin for 6h before washing off.
For thicker skin areas such as your hands, face or dry skin, it is important to lightly exfoliate before application so as to avoid the tan staining these areas darker. Never apply your tan to any open cuts or wounds and cease use if you have any adverse skin reaction.
